GLENDALE BAPTIST CHURCH DESTROYED lN HURRICANE

Glendale Baptist churches main sanctuary was completely destroyed during hurricane Andrew. The churches entire 5000 member congregation has been displaced since that day. Worship services have been being held in the churches cafeteria Inc school classrooms. Glendale’s pastor Joseph Coats says he is praying for a miracle. and the churches budding committee thinks that they have found it, in Premier Development. the construction company that has been selected to rebuild the new sanctuary building. Glendale’s building committee interviewed dozens of contractors, finally selected Premier Development as being the most qualified. Premier Developments President George Rodney Timinsky said that he is honored to have been chosen to rebuild the churches new sanctuary building.
Glendale Baptist church is one of the largest black Baptist churches in the southern black Baptist convention The new sanctuary once completed will have 1700 luxurious seats, a 147 seat choir orchestra pit, theatrical stage, state of the art sound system and a fully computerized lighting system.
Numerous churches had been leveled through Southern Florida during hurricane Andrew, and many are not rebuilding. According to pastor Coats, once completed. Glendale’s new sanctuary will be the beacon of hope that the local community can look towards.
Timinsky’s company Premier Development is a state certified General contracting that specializes in developing high end luxury residential and commercial projects in South Florida. Timinsky said that he anticipates the new church to be completed in‘ eighteen months. And that Glendale is going to have one big celebration, in the new sanctuary once it is finished. And everyone is invited.
